We always have such a great time here! My kids absolutely love it, especially the Butterfly Kingdomβ€”it’s their favorite part. It's such a wonderful place to connect with nature and spend a relaxing day as a family. The botanical gardens are beautiful, with seasonal flowers and little surprises around every corner. Every visit feels a little different, and there's always something new to see. Definitely a place we'll keep coming back to!

The Chicago Botanic Garden is an absolute gem and well worth the visit. The gardens are beautifully maintained, with an incredible variety of plants, flowers, and peaceful walking paths that make it easy to spend an entire day exploring. The highlight of our visit was seeing the famous corpse flower just about a week before it was expected to bloom. Even without the famous smell, it was fascinating to see such a rare plant up close. Whether you’re a gardener, a photographer, or simply looking for a relaxing day surrounded by nature, the Chicago Botanic Garden is a wonderful destination. I’ll definitely be back.

This is a must see! I went on a free day and it was not crazy packed at all. Smooth check in as long as you prepaid online and have your QR codes ready. You do have to reserve a time for the tram so just be aware of that. All bathrooms clean. Multiple water stations. Wear walking shoes and a large hat or umbrella for shade.

The garden is an awesome place to slowly take in the all the beauty Chicago offers outside of the cold weather. There are breathtaking views of hills with native prairie grasses, flowers, trees and structures to please the senses. The 385 acre site can be seen by motorized tram or on foot if you choose. The popular event areas like the Japanese garden and the butterfly enclosure do not disappoint. We loved our time here and plan to return on our next visit.

I've been to this place several times over the years. One of my friends even had their wedding here, and I've also come here to help with engagement and pre-wedding photos. It's a fantastic location for photography, with beautiful scenery and plenty of unique backdrops. If you're into plants and botanical gardens, you'll probably love it here. The property is huge, and there are countless plant species, many of which I'd never seen before. There's also a beautiful pond filled with fish that adds to the peaceful atmosphere. There is an admission feeβ€”I believe it was around $35 when I last visitedβ€”but the experience is well worth it. Parking is plentiful, which makes visiting easy. On my most recent trip, we decided to join the guided tour, and I'm glad we did. We learned so much about the history, plants, and features of the garden that we would have otherwise missed. Overall, it's a great place to explore, relax, and appreciate nature.
